Easter Sunday is the most important feast of the Christian calendar, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Its date moves every year: it falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after the spring equinox, so it can land anywhere from March 22 to April 25. The week before is Holy Week, with Good Friday a public holiday in many countries, and Easter Monday a holiday across much of Europe.
